In the background is the custom Thomas Wayne-built 4-axis CNC machine. Known as "Tom" in the command center, this was used extensively during the Enzo build. Also integral to the process was the CNC machine known as "Dick" seen here on the top left as Richard monitors the initial cuts. When two hands are not enough, Tom and Richard collaborate on the assembly. The near complete checkered flag is compared to the CAD drawing on screen.

Artistic license came into play as Richard and Thomas did a redesign of the Ferrari logo to include the charging stallion bursting through the shield. An exact duplicate of the Enzo Ferrari tire tread design forms the ring at the bottom of the shaft. The joint cap is a genuine Ferrari lug bolt. Above, Thomas inlays the Sterling Silver numbers and marks into the Enzo tachometer. The Sterling Silver inlay surrounding owner Anthony Liu's name is accented with an 18K Gold signature.
