Collectors of art cues are, by nature, persons to whom detail matters. The 18K Gold Ferrari Logo was the crowning touch on the body of the Ferrari. Because this is an art form that is a continuous curve around the cue body, one must rotate the cue to see all of it. This adds the element of movement to the viewing process, and the tactile nature of it being in your hand adds a sense of feel and a connection to the art that goes beyond just the visual beauty. Smooth as glass, the finishing is done in basic spray booth. Richard and Thomas take a break in action to discuss inlay details.

The finished Enzo car inlay shows meticulous detail work, including the 24 Sterling Silver wheel lug bolt inlays in each wheel. The original Italian Walnut stock used for the body of the cue arrives in crudely cut blocks. Above, the rough turned rounds lay next to original design sketches and begin to bring the process to life. The near finished butt and shafts hang against a backdrop of notes and sketches, keeping a sense of the whole process in the minds of the artists.
