(Definition) In this case a mixture of wood burls.

Three different wood burls are combined to form this unique design. Honduran Burled Rosewood is used in the nose with flame veneers to outline points of Amboyna burl. The unique deco ring at the front and back of the normally wrapped area creates a very different looking point base. Madrone burl is used in the handle area and amboyna burl is used again in the deco ring and the veneer bordered diamonds around ebony in the butt sleeve. The joint and the butt plate are elephant ivory from tusks that Richard has had since the early 1980’s. The sterling silver collar rings at the joint are a design he has previously used when done in round shapes; this is the first time he has used it in square form.

The joint is engraved with Richard's RB logo and collector number 06/2011 indicating it is the sixth collector cue made this year. The butt plate is engraved indicating the cue was made for the Burl Collection of the 2011 ICCS held in St. Louis, Mo.
