Cordova: Inspired by the elevator doors at the Chrysler Building in New York City, this piece was done with the customer’s involvement all the way along the process. Even the white material was selected because he was an intrastate resident which made it legal. It was extremely pleasing that on pick-up day the customer said “I’ll be turning 40 this year and I feel like I used to feel on Christmas Day when I got that special gift I really wanted. It’s truly special.”
