Parker 2000

Parker 2000

Patterned after a turn of the century Parker 15 pen, this cue was featured on the cover of Penworld Magazine in their Summer 1990 issue. Richard named it the Parker 2000 because he felt it would be at least the year 2000 before he attempted another piece of this magnitude. The completion of this work of art took over 600 man hours, of which, almost 300 hours entailed the intricate craftsmanship the famed Master Engraver Guillermo Aguayo. The ivory joint is overlaid with 18 K yellow gold and beautifully engraved with the intricate scroll and leaf work that embellished fine firearms and ornamental jewelry of the early 1900's. The wrap area is covered by Moroccan kid leather with inlays of engraved gold bands and an octagonal of mother of pearl ( a feature used so effectively in the Parker 15 pen).
